Meet the Phillips family! Sonya contacted me several months ago about booking an anniversary session with her husband and two sons. They were about to celebrate 20 years and wanted to commemorate the event at one of their favorite hangouts, downtown Celebration. I've never done a photo session in Celebration so I was excited to have been offered the opportunity. The weather was perfect! It was hot but the humidity levels stayed pretty low so we weren't miserable.

The Phillips family consists of Mom (Sonya), Dad (Jeremiah), and sons (Daniel and Aaron). During all my correspondence with Sonya, I knew we were going to get along great! She shared with me that she and her family are foodies and love all things Disney, and so do I! The Phillips Family moved to Central Florida about a year ago when Jeremiah retired after 20 years from the Army. Thank you, Jeremiah, for your service to our country! Daniel and Aaron are both going to school for cinematography, which, as a photographer, I also enjoy and find very fascinating. I also thought it was cool that both brothers are interested in pursuing the same field of study. You don't hear that sort of thing very often these days.
Sonya expressed to me that they are a very tight knit family and enjoying spending time together. That was very evident to me as I observed their interactions with one another during their session. This is exactly why I love what I do. I love to capture the relationships between family members and freeze special moments that they can hang on to and remember for years to come.
