Planning Your Senior Portrait Session
As a family and senior photographer, I know how important it is to capture the special memories of your senior year. Your senior portrait session is not just about taking a posed set of photographs. It’s about capturing who you are as a person, as well as showing off your personality and style. I want to use my camera to tell your unique story and capture everything that makes you uniquely you. When you book your portrait session with me, you will receive a style guide and questionnaire to assist me in getting to know you better and capture the most authentic version of yourself. My goal is to capture genuine smiles and relaxed poses.
Selecting a location for your session is very important. It should match your style and interests. Central Florida has an abundance of unique locations to choose from when it comes to background options. Does your personality lean more towards urban or rural? Choosing a location that suits your personality will create more genuine portraits that truly capture the essence of who you are. I provide my clients a list of location options to choose from and always welcome suggestions of unique places not listed.
When it comes to styling yourself for your session, you will want to choose outfits and accessories that showcase your individuality. My style guide will assist you with selecting just the right color palette and accessories that can give you that extra flair. Since we’re celebrating you, feel free to bring any props or personal items that demonstrate the uniqueness of you. This is the perfect time to show off your extracurricular activities or the aspirations of who you hope to become in the future. This session is all about YOU so lets make it as distinctive as you are!
Even in the attempt to make my senior sessions individualized to each student, I still love to include family members into each session to capture the bonds between the Senior and their families. These images will be cherished for years to come to commemorate the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another.
